We were best friends but suddenly she became more close and open to another member of our friends group and i was hurt that i had lost my best friend and we started fighting my friend told me that both me and the other member of our group were equal and she can not choose between us i told her to prove that i was her best friend but she could not and both of us ended up crying and fighting.

In this situation it is best to go with the flow.If you are really close and true friends you will try an see it from your friends point of view.Who knows maybe someday you might have someone else as your best friend but if your friend stands with you through all the good and bad times and understands and trusts you then you really are true friends.If you really are good friends you will understand each other and after all fights are a part of friendship and we can only solve them by understanding each other.Fights like this will happen all the time.Sometimes we do not see it from our friends point of view.The two things that will not help is ignoring and crying it never helps.The best solution for both of you is that you should sit down and calmly without shouting or crying talk and understand each other and sort it out.
