For Late Comers

 

1. The classic flat tire
2. 'My sister fell ill and we had to drop her back home'
3. 'I studied till late at night yesterday for my biology test and couldn't  get up in time'
4. Traffic jam 
5.  An unexpected procession on the roads

For Food Lovers (an excuse to eat more)

1. An urgent need to have  ice cream to cool your stomach 
2. Breakfast is not complete without an egg
3. How can you not have chocolate on a Sunday afternoon?
4. Brownies are incomplete without vanilla ice cream
5. Winter calls for Phuchkas  

 For School Bunkers

1. I had conjunctivitis
2. I experienced a sudden stomach pain
3. Bringing the dead back to life, ex.my great great great great great etc great grandmother was taken ill
4. I had a severe headache
5. Or how about loose motions
